SkyBus’ Melbourne City Express runs from Southern Cross Station to the airport 24/7 with departures every 6 to 10 minutes (Terminal 1) and generally every 7 to 10 minutes to Terminals 3 and 4. SkyBus services also run from Southbank and Docklands.
A number of bus routes run to the Terminal 4 interchange (10 minutes’ walk from Terminal 1), namely routes 478; 479 and 482. Key stops along the way include Sunbury station, Rawdon St, Annandale Rd and the Westfield Airport West shopping centre. The Smartbus Route 901 connects Greensborough, South Morang, Epping, Roxburgh Park, Coolaroo and Broadmeadows stations (amongst others) to MEL. Epping station to the airport takes between 45 and 60 minutes. Except for the 482, all these buses run 7 days a week, albeit with a reduced service on weekends.
