Perth Airport: global connections for Australia’s most isolated city!
Perth Airport is Australia’s fourth busiest airport (and WA’s busiest), with almost 13.7 million passengers in 2017-2018. There are over 50 non-stop routes out of PER, including international flights to Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and New Zealand. Top international destinations are Singapore, Denpasar, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Hong Kong and the busiest domestic routes are into Melbourne and Sydney. In addition to direct flights to London, it’s possible to fly to or from Paris with Air France with just one connecting flight in either Singapore, Mauritius or Guangzhou. Perth Airport’s terminals 1 to 4 may be accessed from the Tonkin Highway and Dunreath Drive (terminals 3 and 4) or Airport Drive (terminals 1 and 2). Terminals 1 and 2 have both short and long-term parking (the latter served by shuttle buses). Terminals 3 and 4 also have a fast-track parking option, a one minute walk from check-in.
Bus route 380 runs from Elizabeth Quay bus station via Victoria Park Transfer station to terminals 1 and 2 in 30 to 50 minutes, seven days a week, at 30 to 60 minute intervals. The route 40 journey between Elizabeth Quay and terminals 3 and 4 takes 30 to 45 minutes and takes in Burswood, Rivervale, Belmont, Ascot and Redcliffe. Transperth’s route 935 also serves terminals 3 and 4 from King’s Park and Malcolm St, although at less frequent intervals.
